RAW CUT FILMFEST 1-2.05. WARSZAWA, Kino Muranow

The Raw Cut Filmfest (1st – 2nd May 2010) will be hold the first time in Warsaw.
It consists in 80% of film premieres and 20% of good old classics. These films were often out of mainstream distribution and haven’t made their way to Polish cinemas. In the spirit of DIY and low budget we managed to compile a specially selected set of films, which are directly connected to the hardcore/punk culture. During two days you can watch the films on the big screen in the Warsaw cinema “Muranów”. It’s gonna be short, but intense. Without a break – from noon till late at night.
Feature films and documentaries. 4 films each day. In the set you’ll find e.g. “Travel Queeries”, a film about the queer/punk activists from all around Europe, or the Polish premiere of “Edge – perspectives on drug free culture”, as well as films about punk rock from places like Japan or Brazil.
All this on 1st – 2nd March, straight after the festival Noc Walpurgii (“The Night of Walpurgis”) which takes place on 30th March in the CDQ club.
